Starting in the garment district of New York City, the Northern Group is responsible for transforming obsolete buildings and neighborhoods by sensitive rehabilitation, tastefully blending the existing architecture with new infrastructure, creating vibrant homes and workplaces.
The Northern Group followed its success in the garment district with the redevelopment of several landmark buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn and The Bronx. It then branched into other urban centers, successfully converting a property on Broad Street in Philadelphia from an eyesore into a thriving arts center and multiple sites in Philadelphia and Detroit from deteriorating, devalued and, at times, nearly vacant buildings to first class residential apartments, mixed use and office buildings.
